Corker Still Trying To Disenfranchise Tennessee Voters

Yesterday on Blogging for Corker, Nathan Moore reported of a town hall forum in Nashville that Congressman Ford and Bob Corker will be taking part in at the end of this month. The forum will be hosted by the Nashville City Club, which is one of the more exclusive clubs in Nashville.

Now there is nothing wrong with the Nashville City Club. But I just find it odd that Bob Corker will take part in a closed door forum which is exclusively limited to members of the Nashville City Club and their friends, but will not partake in a debate on a program like Meet the Press where all Tennesseans have the chance to see and listen to the candidates.

Right now as it stands, only one of the three debates that Corker agreed to do will be televised statewide. That means folks in Knoxville, the Tri-Cities and other places will be left out in the cold as the other two debates will take place and will only be broadcast in Chattanooga and Memphis.

What does Bob Corker not what Tennesseans to hear? Why is he so dead set against debating Congressman Ford in front of ALL Tennesseans?

If he can't stand up to Congressman Ford in this campaign, how in the world can we expect him to stand up to folks like Osama Bin Laden?

Bob Corker: wrong for Tennessee.
