Ford's Republican Opponents On Ethics: No Comment

Well, it appears that Congressman Ford's opponents for the United States Senate have no intention of telling Tennesseans how they would vote on John Boehner and the congressional Republican's weak ethics bill this week.

Ford made his stance clear in a press release yesterday:

“I will vote no on this weak ethics reform bill because it does very little to rebuild people's confidence in Congress' integrity. To fix it, we should ban gifts to Congress, the Senate and their aides, double to two years the ban on lobbying by former members of Congress, end lavish junkets paid for by private groups and end all pork spending until we balance the budget. Even then, we should force up or down votes on every piece of pork submitted."

Once again Ed Bryant, Van Hilleary, and Bob Corker have shown their true colors and their disdain for the issues that matter most to Tennesseans. Their poor attitude mirrors that of John Boehner.

There is only one real Senate candidate in this race and that is Harold Ford Jr.
