Blogging For Bryant? Uh, Not So Much.

On the blog Blogging For Bryant, their description reads: An Unofficial Blog in Support of Ed Bryant for U.S. Senate. So going by the title and description of the blog, one would assume the blog would be filled with news and information pertaining to Ed Bryant and his campaign for the U.S. Senate, right? Well, not so much.

To find the real underlying agenda of the blog, one must only look at the posts on the front page as of September 7, 2005. When you do that, it becomes evidently clear what the objective of the blog is: to attack Harold Ford Jr. The fact is 11 of the 19 posts on the blog's front page are related to Harold Ford Jr. And guess what? They are attacks. On the other hand, only 2 of the 19 posts (that is not including the post regarding Mr. Bryan'ts birthday) on the blog are solely about Ed Bryant and/or his campaign.

Those facts once again reassert that the Republicans would rather attack Harold Ford Jr. instead of putting forth their own ideas and solutions to the problems that face Tennessee and our nation.

Lets all hope as citizens of the state of Tennessee, that the other side will join Congressman Ford in an issue rich campaign sometime in the near future.

More: Another question one might ask themselves is, "why do the Republicans attack Congressman Ford so much?" Well, besides of having no vision for the future to offer the state of their own, they are admittedly afraid of Congressman Ford and his campaign. Just have a look see for yourself:

Republicans fret over Ford's potential like no other: “Despite it all, Republicans fret over Ford's potential like no other Democrat seeking the seat being vacated by Majority Leader Bill Frist.” AP, 06/12/05

Republican U.S. Senate candidate Ed Bryant knows Congressman Ford can not be taken for granted: “Republican U.S. Senate candidate Ed Bryant told the Chattanooga Pachyderm Club on Monday that the GOP cannot take Democrat Harold Ford Jr. for granted. "Republicans do not have an absolute lock on this Senate seat," he said.” Chattanoogan, 07/16/05

Top Ed Bryant advisor says “it’s going to take a significant amount of resources to keep Senator Frist’s seat from falling in Democratic hands”: Sonny Scott, an adviser to Mr. Bryant, said Rep. Ford has an impressive national spotlight and will be well funded in the race. "It’ll be a huge race for Republicans," he said. "It’s going to take a significant amount of resources to keep Senator Frist’s seat from falling in Democratic hands." Chattanooga Times Free Press, 07/25/05

Online conservative publication RedState.org says the U.S. Senate seat in Tennessee is a “very real risk of Republican loss” RedState.org, 08/31/05

UPDATE 9, 08, 2005: A new day comes, but it is the same ole same ole from Blogging For Bryant. Already today as of 1:30 CST, they have two new attack posts about Harold Ford Jr.

Didn't Einstine once say that "doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results" was nothing more than insanity? Makes you wonder, doesn't it?
