It looks as though the Congress may be taking action on the skyrocketing gas prices by urging the President to launch a probe into possible price gouging by the oil companies. Will the President oblige? I seriously doubt it.
I am glad the Congress is going to address this all important issue that is hitting so many American families in the pocketbook. (Congressman Ford addressed the issue in September 2005)
However, what I would really like to see out of our Congress and President, is to get serious about energy independence as Congressman Ford is.
It is time we stop funding both sides of the war on terror with our dangerous addiction.
