Seriously, What Do Republicans Have Against Securing Our Nation's Ports?

I just have one question in regards to port security today.

What do Republicans have against securing our nation's ports?

First they wanted to give the control of our ports over to a country that had terrorist ties.

Now they are voting down measures much needed funding to port security.

They voted the measures down in spite of recent reports that say that our ports have "serious security problems."

As Congressman Ford's internet ads read, "20,000 cargo containers go uninspected daily. ONE dirty bomb would change the world. The Administration does nothing. Harold Ford, Jr believes we need 100% inspection. 20,000 reasons why he should be TN's next Senator."

So once again, what do the Republicans have against securing our ports?

Seriously.
