The National Journal Reports On Congressman Ford's Growing Momentum

For the third straight ranking the very well respected political publication, the National Journal, has moved the Tennessee U.S. Senate race up the ladder on its list of the most competitive Senate races in 2006.

This month the National Journal has the Tennessee race ranked 9th in the nation. That is two spots higher than it was only one month ago.

In their analysis of the race, they speak highly of Congressman Ford and his efforts to secure America as they write:

"Last month, the rankings for this race and Montana provoked the most reader disagreement. While we're not ready to give in on Montana, we are on Tennessee. Ford is running a very disciplined campaign; making his GOP foes debate the ports deal was very smart. Meanwhile, the Republican primary is starting to engage for real; how long will Hilleary and Bryant allow Corker to have the airwaves to himself?"

Clearly, people are taking notice to the serious inroads Congressman Ford and his campaign are making here in Tennessee.

His dedication to securing our nation resonates with a majority of Tennesseans, both Democrat and Republican.

Tennesseans are looking for a change and Harold Ford Jr. can provide that change.
