Chuck Todd From The National Journal Moves the Tennessee Senate Race Up Two Spots

Chuck Todd from the National Journal has his latest 2006 Senate race rankings now online and the analysis shows that Harold Ford Jr. continues to push the race towards the top.

In his previous rankings, Todd had the Tennessee race at 13, however, it now has moved up two more spots to 11.

Once again evidence that Congressman Harold Ford Jr. has put this race on the map and is the front runner to win this November!

Here is Todd's analysis:

11. TENNESSEE (Open-R) Bill Frist is retiring Last Ranking: 13

Another month and another slew of bad articles with the name "Ford" in it. It's interesting, in this season of "juniors" all over Senate ballots (Bob Casey, Tom Kean, etc.), the only "junior" who asks that he be referred to as "junior" in the media is Harold. Republicans clearly believe that moderates in their party will never vote for a Ford; it's the only explanation for why there hasn't been more attempts to shrink the GOP field.
