One important group of friends I neglected to write about in my campaign update was my visit to Nashville firehalls with the great Jay West. Had a chance to visit six firehalls talking politics, homeland security and football. My friend, State Rep. Mike Turner, was, as always, unwavering in his role as friend and advisor. Also, thank you to Charles Shannon for his hospitality. And finally that Tuesday afternoon we visited my friend Dr. Morris Haddox, owner of Haddox Pharmacy in Nashville. I thank him for his kindness to me and the community at large.
