Ford Begins Aggressive August Schedule

NASHVILLE - Congressman Harold Ford released his schedule for the first two days of an aggressive agenda for the month of August, traveling the state to talk with and listen to fellow Tennesseans about jobs, the war in Iraq, education and health care.

"From Newport to Nashville and on from Music City to Memphis, I'll be on the road, at fire houses, Farm Co-Ops, local employers and civic events across the state listening to and talking with people about the issues that matter most to us," Ford said.

During the August recess from his duties representing Tennessee in the U.S. Congress, Ford will be traveling East, Middle and West Tennessee in rural and urban areas alike. He will also be raising money in and out of state. The schedule for August 1-2 follows.
